THE DECOY MUSUEM RELIES UPON THE GENEROUS SUPPORT OF ITS MEMBERS & VOLUNTEERS
Our mission is to document, preserve, and interpret the history of waterfowl decoys as a unique form of folk art that has become a distinctive element in the cultural landscape of this region – the Susquehanna Flats and the Chesapeake Bay. The Museum seeks to engage and educate its visitors with exceptional exhibits that describe this rich heritage and the interplay among the region, its people, and the art of decoy making since the 19th century. This important work can only be accomplished with the support of volunteers and loyal members who spread the word and help us fulfill our mission.
Membership not only provides financial support for museum exhibits and programming, but it also offers individuals special benefits and opportunities to increase their personal involvement in the museum through events.
For those interested in an even more active association with the Decoy Museum, volunteer opportunities abound! The Decoy Museum’s members and volunteers constitute a very close-knit and loyal community, and we would love to have you to be a part of our efforts!
Please think about supporting the Museum as a member or volunteer.
