Each year, the Decoy Museum hosts an exciting series of events that draw thousands of collectors from across the nation. No matter what your particular interest, our calendar of events offers exciting opportunities to appreciate the unique folk art of decoy carving, enlarge your collection, and support the Decoy Museum!
The Havre de Grace Decoy Museum has made every attempt to present a series of events to educate and entertain our members and visitors. It should come as no surprise that for the last two years our program offerings have been tumultuous at best as the COVID pandemic ebbed and flowed. Publishing an accurate list of events has proven to be one of the most challenging exercises that we have faced. Nevertheless, we have again attempted to establish event listings that will be held at or directly benefit the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum. Please join us to ensure that the folk art of waterfowling and decoy making live well into the future.

28th Annual R Madison Mitchell Endowment Trust Dinner

On Friday March 7, 2025, the Directors of the R. Madison Mitchell Endowment Trust, Inc. are pleased to host its 28th Annual Dinner. This year’s dinner will be held at the Level Vol. Fire Hall located at 3633 Level Village Rd. Havre de Grace, Md. 21078. The evening will begin with Hors d’oeuvres at 6 PM followed by dinner which will include Pit Beef, Ham, Turkey, Shrimp, Oysters, Sides, Beer and wine.
As part of our regular program, we will be offering items in a silent & live auction for sale.
This is the first opportunity for us to come together to support the Mitchell Trust since the devastating impacts of Covid on all our lives and the loss of the Bayou Restaurant, which was Madison’s favorite place to have dinner.
Your attendance will demonstrate your continued support for the R. Madison Mitchell Endowment Trust which benefits the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum. The mission of the Trust is to acquire, present, preserve artifacts and decoys representing all regions of decoy makers as well as other appropriate projects.
